Makenzie
LVT
My name is Makenzie (she/her). I graduated from Windward College in Hawai’i in 2019 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. I began working at Fremont Animal Clinic in March 2023. My love for animals stems from my father being a humane officer growing up and always having 5+ pets of all sizes at a time. I realized then that I wanted to have a career helping animals. I have two dogs and a cat. Lilee is a 5 year old chihuahua I obtained as a stray in vet tech school, Poké is a 5 year old pitbull/dachshund mix I adopted from an abuse case, and sesame is a 3-legged cat that was an owner-surrender. Poké looks exactly how you think a pitbull/dachshund mix would and I get stopped frequently with people inquiring about his breed. I love cooking, painting/crafts, and gardening in my free time as well as exploring Washington State on my days off.
