A green heart shape against a black background symbolizes the compassion and care that every dedicated veterinarian brings to their practice.

We built Cara because we believe in a different approach to veterinary medicine. One that is all about connection. We are driven by a belief and excitement in helping humanity. Pets are such an integral part of that. They mean so much to us. They change our lives, touch our hearts, and even teach us how to be better people.

Many of our team members have a core memory of wanting to save an animal as a child. That has shaped who they have become. We will protect that flame. We invest in you. With training, education, benefits, and mentorship. With support, teamwork, and an unflinchable belief in you. With everything we do, we will empower you to change the lives of people and pets. And we'll help you make your inner child proud.

A green heart shape against a black background symbolizes the compassion and care that every dedicated veterinarian brings to their practice. A waterfront scene featuring a large Ferris wheel and Pier 56 under a partly cloudy sky, offers a serene view where even a veterinarian could find respite. The wooden pier extends into the water, with a green building and flower pots adding color to this tranquil setting.

Shake things up.

As part of the Cara Veterinary Family, our practice operates from five core principles, or "pillars".

Our Pillars

A woman in a black mask, possibly a veterinarian, bends down to greet two white dogs on leashes indoors. The dogs wear colorful bandanas around their necks. She is smiling and gesturing with her hand near them, with wooden seating and cushions in the background. A veterinarian wearing a stethoscope and mask chats with a person in the clinic. A small dog with a pink harness stands attentively on the examination table, gazing at the vet. The room features a framed poster and a large screen on the wall. A veterinarian wearing a mask gently holds a small, white kitten with gray markings. The kitten appears calm in the vet's hands, while the background is softly blurred. A man wearing glasses and a mask, likely a veterinarian, gives a thumbs-up while holding a happy, panting dog. The dog sports a blue harness, and in the foreground, someone with black gloves—perhaps an assistant or fellow vet—is visible. A bearded man smiles warmly, wearing a black polo shirt with "Fremont's finest apparel" embroidered on it. As a respected veterinarian, he stands confidently indoors, framed by glass partitions. A solid green square, reminiscent of the calm and soothing environments often found at a veterinarian's clinic, with no additional details or variations in color.

Shake things up

A veterinarian wearing a mask cuddles a small kitten with light fur and dark markings. The background is a solid green shape. A veterinarian in a black uniform and face mask talks to a pet owner while examining a small black and white dog on an examination table. The scene, framed by a heart-shaped border, captures the vet's compassionate care and expertise. A bearded man with short hair smiles warmly, wearing a black polo shirt with "Fremont's Credit Union" logo. The veterinarian exudes charm while the background is blurred, and the image is framed with a green border resembling a heart on one side. A veterinarian wearing a mask kneels and extends her hand to two white dogs with leashes indoors. The dogs are standing on a wooden floor, and there's a cushion on a bench behind them. A happy bulldog with its tongue out is held by a person wearing a face mask and glasses, likely the vet. Another person in black gloves is interacting with them. The photo is framed within a heart shape, capturing the warm bond between the veterinarian and their furry patient.

A woman holds a kitten in her arms, gently petting its head with her other hand. The kitten appears to be licking a green treat. Another hand reaches towards the kitten, likely for petting. The setting resembles a veterinarian's clinic. A bearded man smiles while wearing a black shirt with "Fremont Animal Hospital" embroidered on it, radiating the warmth of a dedicated veterinarian. He stands confidently in front of glass windows. A happy French Bulldog with a light coat and blue harness sits on a table at the vet, sticking out its tongue. The dog is being held by a person wearing a mask and glasses, who is partially visible. Another person, possibly the veterinarian, is in the foreground, also partially visible. Two people wearing masks interact with a small dog at Tremont Animal Hospital. One person, possibly the veterinarian, is holding the dog while the other gestures toward it, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. A woman with long blonde hair, possibly a veterinarian, smiles while playfully interacting with a small dog wearing a pink harness. She gently touches the dog's mouth with her finger in the cozy indoor setting.
